Ghana lost 2-1 to Croatia in their final Group L match at the 2026 World Cup, but the Black Stars still qualified for the Round of 32 as one of the best third-placed teams. England finished top of the group, with Croatia second and Ghana third.
Croatia took the lead through Petar Sučić’s long-range strike before Ghana equalised through Derrick Luckassen, whose goal was awarded after a VAR review. But Croatia struck again late on, Nikola Vlašić heading in the winner in the 83rd minute to settle the match.
The Black Stars will now turn their attention to the Round of 32.
